Road Sathi offers a seamless process for obtaining your car's Fastag. We provide Fastags from SBI and Bajaj, each with an initial balance of Rs. 100. To activate your Fastag, you'll need to provide your PAN number, RC copy, vehicle registration number, and mobile number.

How Does the FASTag Scanner Work?

When a four-wheeler owner purchases a FASTag and affixes it to the vehicle's windscreen, they gain access to a seamless driving experience across all toll plazas on Indian national highways. Here's how it works:

  • FASTag Setup: The FASTag is linked to the user's prepaid account and affixed to the vehicle's windscreen.
  • RFID Technology: Using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology, the FASTag scanner reads the tag on the vehicle and automatically deducts the toll amount from the linked prepaid account.
  • Seamless Passage: The technology allows the vehicle to pass through the toll gate without stopping, as the toll amount is deducted automatically.
  • Account Debit: The transaction amount is debited from the user's prepaid FASTag account.

What is Fastag?

FASTag is a cashless payment system utilizing RFID technology to collect toll taxes at national highway toll plazas. This system helps prevent long queues and traffic congestion. As of February 16, 2021, all four-wheelers must have a FASTag fitted on their vehicles.

Why Fastag is Compulsory?

As of February 16, 2021, the Government of India mandates that all four-wheelers must have a FASTag. Without a FASTag, you will be required to pay double the toll fee at every toll plaza on Indian national highways.
